Rohit is the co-founder of DB9 Capital, with over 30 years of entrepreneurial and investment expertise. Having built and sold multiple successful technology companies with his co-founder Jessie, Rohit brings a deep understanding of innovation, business growth, and capital creation to the firm. Known for a disciplined, long-term approach, Rohit has helped DB9 build a diverse portfolio that thrives in varying market conditions. At DB9, Rohit continues to drive value creation by identifying high-potential opportunities and fostering strong partnerships across industries.
Jason is Vice President and General Counsel of DB9 Capital and Active Cyber. Jason has extensive M&A, private transaction, real estate and fund experience. Prior to his current roles, Jason was counsel at TRT Holdings where he handled numerous private investments and provided corporate counsel to the various operating companies, including Omni Hotels & Resorts, Gold’s Gym, Tana Exploration Company and Origins Behavioral Healthcare. After serving four years in the United States Army, Jason completed his BBA at Southern Methodist University and his Juris Doctorate with honors at The University of Texas School of Law. Upon graduation, Jason practiced law for several years with the same team at Weil and then Sidley Austin in their Dallas offices focusing on private equity M&A.
Bryan McGowan is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in operations and finance, specializing in managing complex financial operations, strategic planning, and organizational growth. Before his current role, Bryan served as the Controller and Director of Operations at a leading consulting firm, where he spent nearly eight years overseeing financial management and operational strategy. He began his career at KPMG, gaining valuable experience in audit and financial compliance.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
Keval has a financial background spanning over 15 years with Ernst & Young where he focused on serving his clients through all aspects of M&A transactions. He joined DB9 Capital in early 2024 and is responsible for portfolio management, building strategic relationships, conducting due diligence, underwriting, dispositions for the firm. Keval has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
Jack has a Commercial Real Estate brokerage background in both leasing and investment sales. He joined DB9 Capital in May of 2021 and is responsible for asset management for the retail property portfolio, encompassing property management, investment sourcing, and underwriting for commercial real estate opportunities. Jack also has hands-on experience in construction project management, overseeing tenant build-outs and the Village on the Parkway 900 building ground-up development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Financial Applications from Southern Methodist University and holds his real estate license in Texas and Alabama.
Jasmine brings a diverse skill set to the team, with extensive experience in consulting, product management, and sales strategy. She has worked across industries to develop and implement strategic solutions that drive growth and operational efficiency. Prior to joining the company, Jasmine held key roles where she helped streamline product development processes and led sales initiatives to expand market reach. Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
